- [Narrator] Critical situations like these used to be one-off affairs handled like projects, things that happened to somebody else, thank goodness. But that's not even close to the situation we find ourselves in today. Like everything else in the age of the digital enterprise with its continuous everything nature, handling of critical issues must move from an episodic one-off project footing to an agile, continuous operational loop. This isn't just to do what the cool kids are doing, the contiguous nature of critical issues today makes it absolutely necessary. Two other other things are driving the need for continuous critical communication capability. The first is the ferocity and pace of today's 24-by-7 news cycles. The second is the democratization and proliferation and constantly changing landscape of influencers.
