- So as far as why data science is really transforming the world than really important for a lot of businesses, I think one of the biggest things is besides all the fancy modeling and deep learning and all that sort of like really interesting stuff, a lot of data scientist really just clean data, understanding some business problem and solving a problem. It could even be just automating something and while it's not the most interesting thing in the world, if you automate someone's task and you save them like two hours a week or 10 hours a week or 40 or 80 then you're adding value to the company. So, it's really wonderful and some of the work I did before, I've done like Fitbit's, for example and like Fitbit data. Understanding people's yearly variation in heart rate or exercise or sleep, was very rewarding because a lot of old research happened be with a college students like on college campuses and that sort of…
