- [Instructor] Traditional classroom training is ideal for getting the whole system in a room, where an important outcome is getting a group of people to get it, the what and why of lean IT, together. The same goes for virtual instructor-led training, which is live online synchronous training, where the instructor can be remote from some or all learners. It's important to understand that, while there are self-directed learning options for Lean IT, providing proof of course completion from an accredited training provider is required to sit the exam. In other words, self-study based on the Lean IT official publication is not permitted. For self-directed learning, some people really like hard copy books. They learn better with them.
