Five types of measures

- There are five different types, or categories, of measurements that we can perform within our organizations. These five types are progress, compliance, effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity. And we're going to discuss each of those in this lesson. Now, progress measurements are going to demonstrate the degree of achievement relative to defined milestones and deliverables. You may see these as indicators of something's degree of completeness. For example, let's say I have the percentage of software modules that have been tested and passed in this software build. That would be a percentage of completion, right? I might have the percentage of knowledge based articles written by an employee. I might have the percentage of lessons in this course that are filmed and edited.
