- [Instructor] Lean IT certifications are available from the Lean IT Association. As you can see, the Lean IT certification scheme has four certifications at three levels. Each level introduces knowledge and skills, eventually leading up to the competences that enable a professional to support the introduction or development of Lean IT implementations. Lean IT Foundation is the entry level course and certification meant to help every IT professional to develop a knowledge of the fundamental Lean IT concepts, principles, terminology and models, including customer value and the processes that deliver it, how to manage performance, organize and instill required attitudes and behaviors. Lean IT Kaizen is aimed at the Lean IT Kaizen lead and focuses on learning how to lead Lean improving initiatives, including running a Kaizen event, DMAIC problem solving, and the A3 method to record and communicate Kaizen event findings.
