- [Narrator] If you're going to produce a font for wider use, and indeed if you're even starting to steer towards producing something commercially, you're going to need to include lots of different accented characters and alternates. Now here, I have just a handful of common ones, and a font itself. So what I'm going to do is just basically select this range, just here, and the guides. I already knew that the guides were unlocked but I set you a little reminder down here (laughing) just in case. And then we'll go up to the Window menu, down to extensions, and open Fontself maker. And we'll just bring in a batch, like so. And there we are, we have these characters. Now I'm just going to double-click the bar at the top, the dark bar at the top of the extension panel there, and move along a little bit. And just zoom in on these characters, which are ones made from electrical tape. Or that's the idea, that's the inspiration…
