- [Instructor] Advertising has gone through a huge transformation since the dawn of online advertising has come about. But traditional advertising via publications such as newspapers, trade journals, and magazines, is still an important way to communicate with specific audiences and the public at large. So let's take a look at ad and promotion design. Here are two banner ads that could run on a website. Both align to simple design grids, as showing here, but each of these could be used easily within the context of online advertising. You could even animate 'em if you wanted to, and use 'em within an online context to work effectively. They all align with everything else that you've seen previously, be it the print identity campaign, be it the business cards, or letterhead, or the vehicle graphics you may have seen, and then this would further reinforce, on an online environment, the aesthetic of the overall visual identity system for this brand, be it Tusk, or be it Mosaic.
