Add text to your artwork with the Type tool

- [Instructor] Before finishing off, let's set some texts. Select the type tool from the toolbar and click and drag to create an area type. Here you can type the text you wish to insert in your document. I will type in the name of my fictitious destination like dreamland, Earth. After inputting your text of choice, you can click and drag on one of the corners of the area type to resize it. You can make it larger, if you wish to add more texts or smaller if your area type is too wide for your text. When done, double-click on one of the handles sticking out on the side of the area type of the bounding box by doing so you will transform the area type into a point type. With a point type selected, you can now resize the text itself by dragging the corner of the bounding box. Make sure to hold on the Shift Key while transforming if you wish to resize the text while constraining its proportions. You can switch back between a…
