- [Instructor] In this movie, I'll show you how to add a basic textured fill to a path outline which doesn't have much to do with the curvature tool but it has everything to do with this castle illustration. All right. So I'll go ahead and select this guy right here. And what you want to do is make sure your swatches panel is up on screen and then click on this little libraries icon in the bottom left corner in order to bring up a list of swatch libraries that ship along with Illustrator, then drop down the patterns select basic graphics, and then grab this guy right here. Basic graphics textures. Now, initially the panel's going to appear very small. You want to be able to see what you're doing. So click on the fly out menu icon and choose large thumbnail view. So you can actually get a sense for what these patterns look like. And then notice this guy right here, sand. Go ahead and double-click on it. And that…
