Adjusting control handles

- [Instructor] In this movie, I'm going to up the ante a little by showing you how to work with what are known as control handles, which allows segments to curve here inside illustrator. And so let's say I switch to one of the shape tools that draws strictly straight segments, which could be the Rectangle Tool, the Polygon Tool, the Star Tool, or the Line Tool. And just because we haven't seen it so far, I'll go ahead and select the Star Tool. And then I'll drag out from the intersection of those two center guides. And so you can see just like the Polygon Tool, the Star Tool draws shapes from the center out. Now, if you want to add points to the star, as you're dragging, you would press the up arrow key like so, if you want to remove points from the star, then you would press the down arrow key.
