Adjusting stroke properties - Illustrator Tutorial
From the course: Illustrator Quick Tips
Adjusting stroke properties
- [Instructor] Once a stroke is applied to an object there are several properties that can be changed to control the appearance of that stroke. Make sure the selection tool is active. Choose select all to select all of the objects on the current layer. In the properties panel increase the weight of the stroke to 13 points. Click on the stroke link in the properties panel to display options for the stroke of the selected objects. The cap controls the endpoints of an open path. Choose round cap to smooth out the ends of those open paths. Note how these mitered corners contain sharp angles. Change the corner option in the stroke panel to rounded to smooth out those corners.
