- [Instructor] Get yourself a brand new illustrated document. Now it really doesn't matter if it's on illustrations so big, if it's print, if it's RGB or CMR gate, just a brand new document. Video is probably the only thing worth avoiding because otherwise you'll end up with a transparency grid that you probably don't want. Once you've got your document the chances are that you can see in the toolbox, a white fill and a black stroke. If you've got the control strip, you'll be able to see that there as well and possibly in some other places. That is the default appearance in Illustrator. And as I've mentioned earlier on in the course, if you've watched this sequentially you'll know that vectors themselves have absolutely no dimension. Everything you see inside of Illustrator, even in outline mode is an effect. So what we're going to do is we're going to draw an ellipse. So if you tap L on your keyboard, okay? And…
