Benefits of using ExpressKeys

- The functions and placement of the Wacom ExpressKeys makes them incredibly helpful as you work. (upbeat music) This Wacom Cintiq has eight ExpressKeys on each side, plus a four-mode touch slider. And, each side can be programmed differently. Now your unit may have more or fewer keys, but they all work basically the same. I tend to keep both my hands on my monitor as I draw, and having those ExpressKeys under my hands is easier to use than reaching for a keyboard, especially if my desk space is limited. The ExpressKeys are pre-programmed to the most commonly-used shortcuts, such as pan and scroll, alt or option on the Mac, control on the PC or command on the Mac, shift, and others. It's also very easy to customize to work the way you do. The buttons can even be customized to perform different functions for specific softwares, and we'll cover that in another video. It's also easy to see the settings for your program keys, unlike trying to remember all those keyboard shortcuts. The more I use ExpressKeys, the more I like them, and the more helpful they are.
