The Brush tool

- [Instructor] Some brushes make use of appearances. Now, brushes don't behave the way you possibly think they do in Illustrator. They're not the sort of thing you would paint with like the ones you would in Photoshop. Just for an example, what I'm going to do is I'm going to get my pencil here and just draw a line across this particular illustration. I'm then going to select that and make it slightly wider and easier to see. So, there you go, a nice white stroke that I've drawn just there. I'll then go to the brushes panel here and you'll see there's a few different brushes in here including some I made myself that are pattern brushes. But if I choose one of these, they're from a library called The Bristle Brush Library, which you can access via the loader down here. If I choose this fan, and then zoom in on that, you can see that actually it's building an appearance based on a number of different strokes at varying…
