Choosing colors for the logo

In evolving the logo, it's now time to talk about colors. My client supplied me with this file early on. It's a mock up of their forthcoming CD release, and they expressed a liking for this pink color. So using that as my starting point, I matched that to Pantone 672, and then I built some color themes. Based upon Pantone 672, and I did that using the color guide in illustrator. So what I want to do is select that square first of all, to which 672 is applied, and then come and click Edit colors. If I now use the eye dropper, get colors from selected art, I can then choose different color harmony rules and I did this three times. Once for analogous, ones for complimentary, and one for triad, and each time I saved those color themes. To save a color theme, I'm going to click on the folder right there, and then you can name it like so. Click OK, and then that will appear on your swatches panel.
