- [Instructor] What's the easiest way to create an extruded shadow effect? It's to use a chromatic type face. So let's create some type and I'm going to put this in a typeface called a Brim Narrow. Brim Narrow is available on Adobe Fonts, and I'll start with Brim Narrow face. I'll change the color. I'll then duplicate that twice. Coming to the layers panel, I'll select the second layer down. Come to my properties and change this to Full Extrude. I'll then change the color of that. Back to my layers, select the third one down and back to properties, and I'll choose Full Extrude Outline and come and change the color of that. So I invite you to explore the world of chromatic types, and there are quite a few examples of them available on Adobe Fonts.
