- [Instructor] Circles are loaded with symbolism. In a circle, we have a ring, the sun, the moon, the earth, a wheel, an eye, a face, a speech bubble, and many, many other things. It's no wonder that circular logos are so popular. If you're using the circle as an enclosing shape, just consider how the type is sitting within that shape. And in this case, to make it fit better within the circle, I've made the type all uppercase and split it onto two lines. We can use a circle to clip an image to a circular shape. And that's what I want to do here. So I'm going to select the circle. Press Command or Control + C to copy it. Now select the figure and press command or Control + F or Edit paste in front. So I now have a copy of the circle at the top of the stack. I'll hold down my Shift key and select the figure as well, then come to the Object menu. Clipping Mask, Make. Command or Control + Seven.
