- [Instructor] Another unique feature of VectorScribe is the ability to use all the vector information when closing paths. Let me show you what I mean by that. In our exercise file, we have this rounded-corner rectangle shape, or at least it would be a rectangle if I could close the path. And what I'd like to do is to close it in a way that gives me a rounded corner here, like I have on the others. And in fact, if I select the endpoints here, I can see the direction handles that could be used to create a rounded corner. These are part of the vector information that makes up the path. But unfortunately, by itself, Illustrator won't let me take advantage of this information in the direction handles. If I select both endpoints and choose Object, Path, Join, you see that I get a beveled corner. The direction handles were ignored and removed. But if I undo and instead go to the PathScribe panel menu and just choose…
