Combining round-corner shapes

- [Instructor] All right, now I'll show you how to draw the active area of the super retina XD display, complete with the lens flare, for what that's worth. But here's the interesting part, it's actually a combination of two rounded rectangles along with a third degree of rounding. And so I'll go ahead and turn on this corners layer right here. I've highlighted the rounding of the first rectangle in red, the inset rectangle in yellow, and then we're going to combine those two shapes and round them to create these little white corners. Now, like most companies, Apple specifies the size of its display from corner to opposite corner. Now, that value happens to be 6.68 inches, but that's not going to do any good. What's going to do us some good is the pixel dimensions of the display, which is 1,284 pixels wide by 2,778 pixels wide, at 458 pixels per inch, is what PPI stands for.
