Converting between area and point type

- [Instructor] In this movie, I'll show you a few ways to modify the text frame, which in our case it's this rectangle that contains our area type. Now notice that we currently have anchor points around the rectangle as we would if we were working with a standard rectangle. And so if I were to drag one of those anchor points I would just move the text around. And that's because the bounding box is turned off. And when working with area texts, you want it turned on. And so this is what I consider to be one of the rare occasions when the bounding box is absolutely essential. So I'll go up to the view menu and I'll choose show bounding box or you have that keyboard shortcut of control shift B or command shift B on the Mac. And now notice instead of points we have handles. And these handles occur, not only at the corners, but at the sides as well. And so if I want to resize the text, I would just drag one of the handles…
