Cover stitch

- [Instructor] Now that we have our topstitch brush, let's go ahead and make a cover stitch. We can use the line segments that we created for the topstitch and just add to them to make the cover stitch. Let's zoom in a little closer. I'm going to grab the pen tool, and I'm going to make my first click along this bottom line. I want to be careful not to continue the stroke. So I don't want to see the forward slash next to the pen tool. I want to see the asterisk. I'm going to click, go about three quarters of the way across the top line, click and drag, and I want to drag out horizontally. If you'd like you can hold the shift key to keep it aligned. And then I'm going to go back to where I started. Of course, that made a ridiculously fat line, so we're going to go back to stroke and make sure that it's set to .25 and that there's no fill. And now we can select this, and we're going to make a new pattern brush. Click OK. We'll call this one cover stitch. We don't want any spacing on…
