Cracked type
- [Instructor] In this movie I'm going to use the eraser tool to create this dress type. I have my text in a very compressed, very heavy type face, alternate Gothic compressed Demi, and I've also reduced the letter spacing. Now I'll come to my type panel and outline the text, then to my eraser, I'll come and check my eraser settings. I'll take the roundness all the way down to zero and have the angle at 90 degrees, and set the size at around 11 and the smoothing all the way down at one. And now I'm simply going to swipe across that to create a crack or multiple cracks. Then we can come and get our selection tool, double click on each of these separate pieces, rotate and move, possibly even distort as necessary. You really can't go wrong.
