Create and customize gradients

and let's say that we wanted to jazz it up a bit I'll start by opening the Gradient panel, You can also apply any of the gradient swatches in your file to reposition the color stops. Notice when I click on a stop I also get an Opacity control. To add another color stop click underneath the slider To change the color of a stop double-click it and then choose a new color. I'll choose this one from my swatches I'll choose this one from my swatches and for the left one maybe a nice magenta color. There's also an Angle control here. And a button to reverse gradients. If you click the button to enter gradient editing mode you're switched to the Gradient tool and you get a very handy control that appears on your artwork. You can drag the stops, and the midpoint, or change the length, or change the length, the angle, the angle, or position of the entire slider. And you see immediate results.
