Create a donut chart
- [Instructor] Illustrator doesn't have the ability to create a donut chart natively per se, but we're gonna leverage a chart type that it can create to produce a donut chart for us. Now I'm gonna start by coming down here and selecting the Pie Graph Tool. If you don't see it you can click and hold on the Column Graph Tool and grab the Pie Graph Tool. And I'm just going to click and drag while holding the Shift key to create the graph about the size that I want it to be. And I've done some work to save us some time if you click on this button here to import data in your chapter three folder you'll find a Graph Data text file. So just go ahead and open that, click the check mark, and then close the Data panel. Now if you grab your Group Selection Tool, which is found underneath the Direct Selection Tool, you'll find that if you click on a pie wedge to select it and you click again it'll select the wedge and the legend.
