Create patterns

about creating, editing, and transforming patterns for the Illustrator ACA exam. In our exercise file we have this kind of sleepy looking robot, and I'd like to create an infinite army of sleepy looking robots by making him into a pattern. To do that, I'll select the robot, and then go to the Object menu and choose Pattern, Make. I get an alert that a new pattern swatch was created and that I'm now in Pattern Editing Mode. And anything I do here will be applied to the swatch. In the center I have my original robot, who's still editable, in a preview mode that works like Illustrator's isolation mode. Anything I do to the original artwork will be instantly reflected in the pattern copies.
