Create a ring chart
- [Instructor] Although Illustrator can create several types of graphs natively in the program, unfortunately, it doesn't have the ability to create a ring chart, which seems to be in high demand right now. I'd like to share with you a method that I came up with for creating ring charts in Illustrator while giving you the ability to precisely adjust the values at any point in time. Now, what I've done here in this document is I've created five circles, okay, and I've applied a stroke to each one of them. If you look in the Layers panel, you can see that I've also labeled each one for easy identification. Now, what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna grab my Ellipse tool and I'm gonna set the stroke to None and the fill to None and I'm gonna draw an ellipse that encompasses that outermost ring.
