- [Instructor] Welcome to drawing vector graphics laboratory. I want to dive into one of my favorite features in illustrator, and that is the actions panel. I use it to automate common tasks. I do often to save time during my workflow. In this movie, I want to show you a hack my friend, Bob Mon has helped me figure out for illustrator. It allows you to save a lot of time creating image traced assets. Now this is going to get a little geeky technically speaking but I think you'll find it very useful. So let's dive into it and get started. So here's an asset. It's a bitmap TIF that I place into illustrator. It's a brush that I took black ink, watered down and just brushed it on paper, wait till it obviously dried and then scanned it in. I want to turn this in to a art brush in illustrator.
