- [Instructor] Welcome to Drawing Vector Graphics Laboratory. Technology is cool. Technology in context of art can make creating certain things a whole lot easier. I was working on a large project over the last several months, and found myself in need of a certain effect, but it had to look more real than I'm used to creating. And this was a challenge for me, but I really like how it turned out, and I wanted to share that with you now. And that is, I had to create a bubble effect for a certain project. I can't disclose that project, but I can definitely disclose how I created the bubble effect. So in this movie I want to show you how I approached it and used both Illustrator and Photoshop to find a perfect solution. So it all starts with reference. I started looking at all kinds of bubbles, and the one thing about a bubble, it's the easiest shape of all, it's the circle. We know those are dead simple to create in Illustrator.
