- [Lecturer] Welcome to drawing vector graphics laboratory, I received a question about using specifically bitmap textures inside of Illustrator and why I do that, and they didn't understand that format. They had never used it before. So, in this movie, I'm going to show you several types of bitmap images because there isn't just one, there's several different ways you can handle this. All of them are a lot of fun to work with inside Illustrator. So I want to show you how I create them and how you can utilize them within Illustrator to turn flat clean vector artwork into an immersive visual. It's really cool. So let's dive into it. This started with this rough sketch. I've been doing a lot of diversity icons lately, and I've taken that same aesthetic, that simple claim geometric, and I start doing a little more elaborate design.
