- [Instructor] All right, now we're going to begin work on this red pie shape, which is going to begin life as a red circle that we're going to create by the numbers. And so notice if I switch over to that US flag site, once again, that we've got these relative measurements that are expressed inside of the two by three aspect ratio which makes things quite confusing, by the way, because notice that we have two thirds of something right here that's what .666 repeating is. And then we've got another one-third up top, represented by 0.333. Problem is that's inside of the two aspect ratio. So we actually have to divide these values by two and then add them together. So we've got a third in the middle, a sixth up top and another six down bottom that equals two thirds. So in other words, the red circle right here takes up two thirds of the height of the flag.
