Nature is a whirlwind of amazing diversity, fascinating animals of all types and shapes, exotic plants, and lush colors. I bring this up because years ago when I visited Kenya, we got to visit this beautiful area a few hours northwest of Nairobi. So in this movie, we're going to create a design using subject matter derived from this area of that country. This is going to be a fun creative adventure, so let's get started. And it all starts with creating a texture. And most of the textures I create, I take a photograph of an old brick wall or a photograph of the side of an old destroyed car, and then I create a texture and I use it in illustrations.
