- [Instructor] D'you know, a question I'm often asked, and more often than I would have thought, is how do you create a dotted line in Illustrator? People get it with the whole dashed line thing, but they go how do you make a dotted line? So, let's make a beeline, pun totally intended, out of dots with this flight path. This somewhat erratic, our thing's actually showing off, this bee, but there you go. First of all I'm going to increase the weight here. So let's make it nice and easy for you to see. So let's take that here. Let's go about 30 points ish is good. We will then access the Stroke panel and enable the dashed line. We're going to take the dash down to zero points. Now, you might think that's completely crazy because now we end up with these really strange gaps and those are pretty much invisible, those lines that are there.
