- [Von] Welcome to Drawing Vector Graphics Laboratory. I enjoy creating Vector artwork, because once created, it can be used in so many different ways like stickers or T-shirt graphics, or you could even blow your artwork up three stories tall and do an oversize print-out of it as well. That's because Vector artwork at its core is resolution independent, unlike pixel-based artwork. So that's why it's so useful. That's why I enjoy it quite a bit. But one drawback with Vector art, is it can look too clean. Too perfect. Too geometrically driven. This is why I like to use textures. To bring some humanity into the creative bits. In this movie, I'll be responding to a viewer question about using brushes to colorize artwork. So, we're going to use a grainy, texturize pattern brush to color our design. So, let's get started.
