Creating and removing guides

- [Instructor] Guides can help you to create order in your layout or illustration and they are super easy to add and remove. I tend to drop mine onto a specific layer, because guides are actually layer-specific, because unlike those in products like Photoshop, you can have different grid arrays on a layer, and they are actually made of objects. So, I'm just going to rename this layer here guides like so, and then what I'm going to do is bring in my rulers. So, Command R or Control R will get you the rulers. If you want the menu, it's up here in the view menu down in there somewhere. There we go, rulers, so to show and hide there as well. And then you simply drag them in from the ruler. So, I want a guide at the top here, okay, for the top of a headline that will introduce the main title just there and also I want another one just underneath that like so.
