- [Instructor] Welcome to Drawing Vector Graphics Laboratory. Every year I attend a design conference called Creative South. It's held in a small town of Columbus, Georgia. It's three fun-filled days of creative inspiration, talks, and workshops, covering a diverse range of creative skills. My friend and fellow illustrator Sean Ferguson and I did a workshop together at the conference comparing how each of us would approach vector building using the same source sketch. To make it a neutral source, we asked our creative friend Dylan Mangus, a talented designer and illustrator himself, to draw a sketch that both of us could use as our source to create from. We didn't tell him what to draw, we just told him to pick a topic and provide us with a sketch that Shawn and myself could work from to create vector-based artwork.
