(gears clanking) - [Instructor] Welcome to Drawing Vector Graphics Laboratory. In this movie, we're going to create a seal design. Some may call it a badge graphic, which is fine too. It involves graphic imagery, typography, and graphic components that all work together to create a nice composition of visual information. So let's jump into this process right now. It all starts with drawing. So this was my initial rough sketch and because I can create the artwork symmetrically, meaning I only have to draw one half of it, this is the sketch you see here. And the theme for this seal is going to be Bigfoot. Now I grew up in the Pacific Northwest and Bigfoot lore is a big part of the culture here and so we're going to create a badge design, a seal design that is, playing off of that concept about Bigfoot searching and looking out for Bigfoot and you can even see I even explored a seal design up here in the top right.
