Creating a series of evenly spaced rays

- [Instructor] In this movie, I'm going to show you how to create these evenly spaced yellow rays, emitting from the copper star. Now strictly speaking, this has nothing to do with the shape tools. In fact, we're going to be using the line tool to pull this off. But seems to me I'd be remiss if I didn't show you how it works. And so I'm going to go ahead and switch over to the document in progress here, I'll press Control + Shift + A or Command + Shift + A on the Mac to deselect the star. And then I'll switch to the guides layer for a moment. And I'll go ahead and select the line segment tool from the line tool fly out menu. Now you want to make sure that your smart guides are turned on at which point? Go ahead and drag at the intersection of those two guidelines until you snap into alignment with that top bright point in the star.
