- [Instructor] In the previous movie, I showed you how to split objects into layers inside Illustrator. But what if you forgot to separate the objects that you want to animate? Or for some reason, you don't want to change your AI artwork and you still need access to all of those vector elements. If this is the case, then there is another way to work here inside After Effects. So I'm going to select the 25% layer here in order to illustrate what I mean. First, I need to emphasize that when you are bringing vector files to After Effects and this not only concerns Illustrator, but also PDF and EPS files, then you have this switch over here, which is for layers called continuously rasterize. And this will allow you maintain the vector quality of the vectors themselves. So just to illustrate what I mean, I'm going to press S in order to show you the scale properties here inside After Effects. And I'm going to exaggerate by adding another zero, meaning that I'm scaling this layer to 1000%…
