(whirring and clicking) - [Instructor] Welcome to Drawing Vector Graphics Laboratory. In a previous DVG Lab I showed you how you can use spot texture images to turn a clean graphic like this badge design I created and turn it into a really authentic looking distressed graphic like this one. Now, in that movie, we used raster-based placed images. So in this movie, I want to walk you through how to actually create spot texture brushes, vector-based brushes, where you can do the same because it's a little easier control and it's more intuitive. This has better shown than explained, so let's jump into it. It all starts with a source texture. This can come from anywhere. This one was specifically derived from a parking garage floor. I took a photo of it, brought it into Photoshop, and just blew it out using gray scale into a black and white type of image. Now this one image you can derive a lot of different spot…
