Creating swatches
- [Instructor] Swatches allow you to quickly and consistently apply colors to your artwork. Open the swatches panel by choosing window, swatches. Click on the color group icon to make it active so that the swatch you create goes into that group. To create a new swatch, go to the swatches panel and click on the new swatch button. Enter an appropriate name for your swatch. Enable the global checkbox. And for the values, we're going to enter 59 for cyan, four magenta, seven yellow and zero black. Also make sure that you uncheck add to my library. Click OK, and now you can see the swatch has been added to the color group. You can also double-click on the stroke or fill indicator to bring up the color picker. Drag the hue slider to the hue that you want to use, and then you can click to choose the particular color. Click OK, and then you can drag the fill indicator or stroke indicator from the bottom of the tools panel or from the…
