I'd rather get lost within the creative process of creating artwork than almost any other form of activity. The final art is of course enjoyable, but it's the process of creating it where I find the true joy. So in this movie I want to dive in to the use and make it organic, that really doesn't look like vector artwork at all. So this is going to be fun. Let's jump into it, and the first thing I want to do now that I have my base artwork established is I want to switch to Photoshop and I'm going to walk you through creating your own texture resource. We're in Photoshop now, and the photograph of this bus you see in front of you, I like going to what are called rat rod shows. These are like hot rods, but they're not all polished and impeccable. They're like rusted out and kind of Frankenstein'd together. Well some guy had brought this old school bus, and it was just thrashed. I mean the surface textures were amazing.
