- [Instructor] Welcome to Drawing Vector Graphics Laboratory. Someone asked me recently why Adobe brought mirrored functionality to Photoshop, but still hasn't brought it to Illustrator. Now there's plugins that do this really, really well, but I've wondered the same thing myself over the years so in this movie, we're going to create a symmetric design using basically, a hidden feature in Illustrator. You might be shocked to know this but mirroring is available in Illustrator right now, but it's a little tricky to set up and a little technical, so I'm going to walk you through the process, and you'll be able to use this moving forward until they build it in natively into AI, so let's jump into this. Now, the theme for this project, or the artwork I want to create to demonstrate this ability, is I'm going to be creating a tribal styled motif based off of a tiger's head.
