(industrial booming, clicking) - [Instructor] Welcome to drawing vector graphics laboratory. In this movie, we're going to travel back to 1986. I was just two years out of art school, working in an in-house art department at a large sportswear company in the Seattle area. This was before desktop publishing and virtually no one in our industry had heard of Adobe. Our creative tool of choice was a Xerox copy machine, as shown here, actually, this exact model. And we used it to create a style of art we like to call Xerography. It's a Xerox copy machine. That's how we came up with the name. Now this is going to be a really fun project, so let's just jump right into it. Now what we would use the Xerox machine to do is we kind of collage together a design, and this was for sportswear, so it was going to be printed, screen printed on T-shirts.
