- [Instructor] Now that we have our start file made, our actions, brushes, swatches, symbols and graphic styles, let's put it all together and draw a denim jacket. For a denim jacket, we first need to set up some guides, a lot like the blazer we drew in the beginning course. We're going to go to the guides layer, and I'm going to drag a guide that's about a third of the way down, a quarter to a third of the way down the arm hole. This is where the break point's going to be for the jacket neckline. Now we can grab the pen tool and draw some guides. I like my guides to be .25, a red stroke, and no fill. I find this the most comfortable to work with. So we're going to start with the pen tool at the neckline and I'm going to click there. I'm going to go down to the guide line, across center line, and click and then hold my Shift key and just go down to as long as I want my jacket to be. And that's the guide line.
