Discovering the Appearance panel

- [Illustrator] Working with the appearance panel is the key to creating more complex looking icons without having to draw additional shapes. This is because the appearance panel allows you to add multiple fields, and multiple strokes to the same object. I'm here inside of illustrator where I have a very basic circle and I would like to add multiple strokes, and multiple fills. I'll start out by clicking the window menu, and then choose appearance. So the appearance panel looks like this and always be sure that you have something selected. It clearly says that I have a path selected now. If I de-select I'll have the exact same options available, but there's no selection. So you won't see any change here. Click the circle to get started. Now, what I can do, just to help me out here is I am going to add two additional strokes. First, I'll choose a basic black color for the first stroke and I'll change the width from…
