Drawing with the Grid tools
- [Instructor] In all honesty, the two line tools that I could not do without, personally, in the set of line tools in Illustrator are the grid tools. They are so useful. If you want to find them and you've not been watching this sequentially, simply hit the Backslash key on your keyboard, which will get you the line tool, and you can then long press and tear off that strip of tools as I had done earlier. So I'm going to start off with the rectangular grid tool, and without any further ado, just going to come out and draw across this area here. Don't have to draw from side to side, any way you want to is just fine. And while I'm drawing, because this isn't an operation that can be done post-drawing, I'm going to use the Up Arrow key there to add more horizontal lines, the Down Arrow to take some of those away, the Right Arrow key to add more vertical lines, and the Left Arrow key to take some of those away.
