Drawing geometric shapes

- [Instructor] All right now we're going to draw this green foliage. Using the Ellipse Tool. And the Ellipse tool works a lot like a Rectangle tool, but it has a few extras. So I'll go ahead and switch over to our document in progress. And then I'll click and hold on the Rectangle Tool in order to bring up the shape tool flyout menu. And I'll select the Ellipse Tool. Now again, a very basic tool to use. You drag from one corner to the other in order to create a shape. The thing is an ellipse doesn't have a corner. So what you're really doing is drawing the rectangular bounding box. As we're seeing right here. If you decide to resize the shape after drawing it, assuming that the bounding box is turned on. Then you can drag one of the handles that surrounds the shape. To move the shape you drag it by its center like so. And then notice this little widget right here. It allows you to create a pie.
