- [Instructor] Alright, now I'll show you how to create a couple of modestly real-world custom path outlines that happen to be symmetrical as well, namely this purple t-shirt and this dark purple collar. Now I've created custom guides for the neck as well as the seams that appear on the right and left-hand sides of the t-shirt just in case you want to try your hands at them as well. Alright, so I'll select that central blue path with the black arrow tool and then I'll press control plus or command plus on the Mac in order to zoom on in and I'll space bar drag my view of the artwork upward. Alright, now I'll switch to the pen tool and then I'll go ahead and drag upward from this location right here in order to begin a new path outline and I'll also press the shift key as I drag to constrain the angle of my control handles to exactly vertical.
