Duplicating a transformation

- All right now, I'll show you how to duplicate a transformation. And this is also known as series duplication or power duplication. And one it's going to allow us to do is very quickly and easily take our purple feather and turn it into five more. Alright so first step is to select that purple feather, just by clicking on that shape with the black arrow tool. And now I'll switch to the rotate tool. Now notice this little target point, which represents the center of the rotation, we want it to be located at the center of this circle right here. So you're going to have to kind of find it and as soon as you see the shape highlighted and the word center right there, then what you want to do is click in order to move that origin point. Alright now you just want to drag this top edge here up and to the left until a more or less snaps into alignment with the right hand edge of the deselected shape. Which is you can see here…
