Editing a path with the Pencil tool

- [Instructor] All right now I'll show you how you can edit an existing selected path outline using the Pencil tool regardless of how you drew that path outline in the first place. But first, a couple of cool tricks. First of all, you can press the Alt key or the Option key on the Mac and drag to draw a straight line. But it gets even better. If you want to continue drawing a freehand path, then just release the Alt or Option key and continue dragging like so. And then as soon as you see the circle next to that cursor go ahead and release to create a closed path outline. Another option is to press the Shift key. And so if you Shift + drag, not only do you create a straight segment but it's locked into alignment with the nearest 45 degree angle. So it can be diagonal, it can be vertical, or it can be absolutely horizontal. And then as soon as you release the Shift key just go ahead and keep drawing. And then let's…
